About
Miranda is the owner and head trainer at Adventure Tails Dog Training and Enrichment in Voorheesville, NY (right outside of Albany). Miranda has been working with dogs and their owners in a variety of settings since 2008, starting at her local humane society. Her beginnings in rescue sparked an interest in learning to understand dogs with behavioral challenges and, especially, the dogs who are just “too much”. Passing this understanding along to owners and showing them how to embrace their dog’s potential is the driving force for her work as a dog trainer. Miranda owns and operates Adventure Tails with a small team behind her. They provide off leash pack hikes, day train, group classes and 1:1 lessons for pet dogs and those starting in dogsports or seeking to include their dogs in outdoor activities and off leash adventures. Miranda conducts behavior modification programs through 1:1 lessons, day train and board and train.In her spare time, Miranda trains her two young Malinois, Moda and Sal, for IGP and American Schutzhund. They also dabble in other dogsports and enjoy hiking, camping, paddleboarding and backpacking together.
