About
Christopher Locke is the owner and head trainer of Motivated Canine, located in Wilmington, Delaware. His interest in dog training started at a young age as one of Chris' big questions in life was how do dogs think and learn. As he got older, he realized his true passion in life was working with dogs and took a special interest in learning theory and animal behavior. He also worked for four years as a full-time Animal Control Officer for the State of Delaware, which gave him an extremely unique perspective on law enforcement, dog ownership and animal welfare. Chris is currently training his Belgian Malinois to compete in Mondioring and he is also pursuing a decoy certification in the same sport. As a Training Without Conflict® Certified Dog Trainer, Chris aims to emphasize the development of a relationship and bond between you and your dog through motivation and play.
