About
My name is Anne Marie Cullen, and I am based in Pismo Beach, California. I offer
individualized training programs for any age and any breed. I also work with dogs with
behavioral issues and have a special passion for helping fearful dogs.
My goals are to provide each client with the ability to build a strong relationship with
their dog and understand their dog as an individual, and also to leave each client with
the ability to maintain their connection with their dog going forward. I offer in-person
training in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties, and remote training in all
locations. I accept board and trains on an individual basis, one dog at a time.I have been training, testing and deploying search and rescue dogs for 20 years and
have mentored many new teams on the path to certification. I currently have 3 certified
dogs of my own: a live-find area Border Collie, and 2 dogs certified for human remains
detection – a Dutch Shepherd and a Malinois.
After many years of helping family, friends, and neighbors with their pet dogs, and
volunteering in shelters, I made the decision to become a professional dog trainer. I
researched many schools and ultimately chose Training Without Conflict because it is a
complete, in depth, and rigorous program personally taught by world-renowned Ivan
Balabanov. I am proud to be a TWC Certified Professional Dog Trainer and grateful to
be part of the TWC community.
